Lateral Flow System for Salmonella AD
This method uses a simple two-stage enrichment and requires no sample boiling. The same protocol can be used for all food types, and the assay takes only 10 minutes –even for high– burden samples.
Tests are designed to detect Salmonella in raw ground beef and chicken, liquid eggs, sliced cooked turkey, carcass rinses and peanut butter. This second-generation product uses optimized antibodies on the test strips and phage-based enrichment media for improved sensitivity and specificity.
